ROK Global PLC, the mobile and web technology, applications and services company, has announced it has acquired the majority stake in Houston-based Wintec Protective Systems, Inc.
Wintec have developed a unique and highly innovative suite of safety, security and industrial technology products, backed by 4 patent applications, which includes low-cost glass-strengthening solutions designed to protect against ‘smash and grab’ raids and provide protection against hurricanes, blast protection systems for pipelines and conduits, anti-corrosion longevity solutions for steel and other metals and materials, anti-cracking and strengthening products for concrete, as well as natural product oil spill recovery systems, safety panels for the construction industry and riot shields for law enforcement agencies.
