ROK Global PLC, the mobile and web technologies, applications and services company, has announced its online eco-conscious products retail company, JP Selects, has partnered with MicroVenture Marketplace, Inc. to identify and provide investment capital to those brands showcased by JP Selects.

Based in Austin Texas, MicroVenture Marketplace, Inc. enables start-up companies and small businesses to access early-stage capital investment from pre-qualified investors in private offerings and securities.

Commenting, Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK said “As we add more eco-friendly and sustainable brands to the fast-growing JP Selects product portfolio, it has become apparent that many of our partner brands are perfectly positioned for investment to achieve the growth they are capable of, yet in these straightened times, many of the previously available investment channels are closed to them. That is why our partnership with MicroVentures is of such significance.”

ROK Global, listed on the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, was co-founded by US Billionaire John Paul DeJoria, the co-founder of Paul Mitchell hair care systems and Patron Tequila and UK serial technology entrepreneur, Jonathan Kendrick.

“We are very excited to be working with JP Selects in identifying those brands who want - and would benefit from - investment for growth.” Said Bill Clark, CEO of MIcroVenture Marketplace, Inc.

In addition to JP Selects, ROK has pioneered the development of several innovative mobile and web technologies including high quality Mobile TV which streams video over mass-market 2.5G GPRS as well as 3G and Wi-Fi, mobile-phone security and policing software, which it licenses to law enforcement agencies, and cutting-edge multi-language text-to-speech technologies.
