ROK Launches SMS Soccer Alert Subscription Services in Nigeria, Jordan and Iraq

ROK Global PLC, the UK-based technology, applications and services company which is listed on the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, has announced the launch of its ‘Soccer Alerts’ subscription service with Mobile Operators Airtel in Nigeria and Zain in Jordan and Iraq.

Designed to provide near-live updates, news and scores from all the major soccer leagues to subscribers mobile phones via SMS, ROK’s Soccer Alert service is charged on a subscription basis priced at between USD $0.50c and $1.00 per week depending on the market and the amount of updates the subscriber requests.
